Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama nating wakasan
This cause aims to reduce hunger
and poverty suffering by poor community not only in the Philippines and in the
whole world. Designing Programs/Projects that elevate Hunger and Poverty. The
Major cause of our nation’s poverty and hunger is corruption. Hence, to
seriously address poverty and hunger. The world hunger problem is perhaps
the oldest of all the global problems of mankind. Hunger is an extreme
manifestation.
I would like to point out that
hunger is not only a threat to human health and life, but also a serious
problem of falling educational level, productivity, which leads to a decline in
the whole economy. Malnutrition leads to single deaths. However,
malnutrition is the cause of many deaths, since malnourished people do not get
enough to eat, that does not allow their body to resist disease.
The world produces not enough
food. The planet produces enough food to provide everyone, including meat,
vegetables, fruits, fish and other products. The problem is that people
are too poor to buy their own food. Many of the "starving"
countries have sufficient stocks of agricultural products and even export them.
It is impossible to feed so many hungry people. Despite the fact that rapid
population growth in the third world countries is a serious problem, never and
nowhere population growth does not lead to famine. Hunger is caused by
social and economic inequality: the rapid population growth is dangerous only
to states where there are public and social mechanisms to ensure that a
majority of the country's people have access to education, medicine,
employment, social security systems, etc.
The problem of hunger can solve
the "Green Revolution". The "Green Revolution", which
implies in particular the appearance on the fields of new plants (hybrids and
genetically modified organisms), massive use of fertilizers, new methods of
cultivation, etc., certainly helps to fight hunger. However, focusing only
on increasing agricultural production does not solve this problem.
I am convinced that one day we
will succeed and that overcoming hunger and malnutrition will end in success.
