A positive and promising report on progress

“A positive and promising report on progress”

This is what I have to say. Were we satisfied with the President’s performance? Are we? Will we ever be? Was there ever a perfect President? Was there any era that we never complained about the administration? We were not, and will never be satisfied with the President’s performance. We are never content because we always ask for more. We always expect for more. We demand for more. And it is easier to complain than appreciate.

Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III is not a perfect President, but at least we have a Good one. At last! He has been working hard. Let’s value. There are things he cannot do and let’s help him. Let’s do it with him. John F. Kennedy once said “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.” If we’re not satisfied, let’s move, let’s work NOW. Let’s not waste time by just complaining. Go for productivity. Be an asset not a liability; let’s not always use our mouth. Let’s work hand in hand. Back to back. Two or more heads are better than one.

Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama nating wakasan

Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama nating wakasan

This cause aims to reduce hunger and poverty suffering by poor community not only in the Philippines and in the whole world. Designing Programs/Projects that elevate Hunger and Poverty. The Major cause of our nation’s poverty and hunger is corruption. Hence, to seriously address poverty and hunger. The world hunger problem is perhaps the oldest of all the global problems of mankind. Hunger is an extreme manifestation.

I would like to point out that hunger is not only a threat to human health and life, but also a serious problem of falling educational level, productivity, which leads to a decline in the whole economy. Malnutrition leads to single deaths. However, malnutrition is the cause of many deaths, since malnourished people do not get enough to eat, that does not allow their body to resist disease.

The world produces not enough food. The planet produces enough food to provide everyone, including meat, vegetables, fruits, fish and other products. The problem is that people are too poor to buy their own food. Many of the "starving" countries have sufficient stocks of agricultural products and even export them. It is impossible to feed so many hungry people. Despite the fact that rapid population growth in the third world countries is a serious problem, never and nowhere population growth does not lead to famine. Hunger is caused by social and economic inequality: the rapid population growth is dangerous only to states where there are public and social mechanisms to ensure that a majority of the country's people have access to education, medicine, employment, social security systems, etc.
The problem of hunger can solve the "Green Revolution". The "Green Revolution", which implies in particular the appearance on the fields of new plants (hybrids and genetically modified organisms), massive use of fertilizers, new methods of cultivation, etc., certainly helps to fight hunger. However, focusing only on increasing agricultural production does not solve this problem.

I am convinced that one day we will succeed and that overcoming hunger and malnutrition will end in success.

Letter to the President

                                                                June 25 , 2013

Dear Mr. President,

Greeting you a pleasant day and hoping that you are in a good condition right now.

Being a leader is one of the most hardest thing that a person can do especially to you our beloved president. We all know that a leader is the person who is in control of it or in charge of it. Allow me to extend my congratulations to you on your victory.

Now this is the time to make good on your promises and do something. I know that you have a good heart and good intentions when you ran for the presidency. However, good heart and good intentions alone does not necessarily make an effective leader. I may not have voted you because I am not officially in the right age to vote but since you're still going to be my president. I will support you and in return, I am expecting a lot from you.

I know that it is very hard for you to lead a millions of people but I believe that you can do it for the sake of our country. Keep helping us in progressing our country, especially to us students. Be a man that your parents wanted you to be. Be an inspiration to everyone. Be active and strive to make our nation great. It is not enough that you had the right slogan that carried you through the campaign. Be the walking slogan, Mr. President. Because when it comes to getting things things done, saying the thought aloud is not a worth. Now is the time to start turning things over with sweat, with force and with determination. I am not expecting you to change the country because no one man can do that. But I do expect to collectively make that change. Please inspire the Filipino People. Inspire Us.

You face a daunting task ahead of you Mr.President. Our country is sick, our nation is flawed, our culture is diverse. So please heal the sickness, accept the flaws and embrace the diversity. Please try to make the effort. Consider each and every Filipino your own family now. And as head of that family, point us in the right direction and show us the right way.

Reforms needed to wipe out corruption in our country. Never forget those who believed in you that’s all Mr. President. Thank you for the time you spent on reading my letter. :)))

                                                                                                                                                                                                    Respectfully yours ,
                                                                             Aj-Elaine Arcaina
