Next Chapter

          Time runs fast. Every tick-tack of the clock brings us changes. Almost 9 months have already passed and forth grading is about to end. We have to open new chapter of our student’s life which is the College life. Next page please!

          Going back to the previous chapter, I would say that it was full of experience. My knowledge in first grading became wider, these were doubled, tripled. I have learned new pieces of knowledge which my teachers have imparted to us again. In our subject ICT, this was the best grading I've been with my teacher and practice teacher. I learned all the uses of adobe Photoshop. And I enjoyed all our activities on how to edit a picture such as black and white, correcting colour, cloning, putting hair colour from the tools in the program.

          Beyond these experiences and pieces of knowledge, there are also problems. Many projects are assigned to us and when the deadline came, we were running of time and rushing everything. There are also times that I got low in our quizzes. In address to these problems, I use my time wisely and finished my projects and assignments in time. And I tried my best to review our lesson to get high score.

          Moving on, I will strive harder and I will be more studious. And be always positive. I will be more confident so that I can be out of my shell. I will start the next page with a more confident me.

CHANGE: It starts with me

           Change as we know is the process of transformation wherein we want to change our bad attitude to good ones. There are others that they want to be with friends who are going lucky, others want to change their looks into modern one and so many others. But change is hard to do especially when it concerns with our attitude but when it starts with ourselves we can do it as long as we want.

          Like me, I want to change my bad attitudes into good ones. I want to be a responsible person because sometimes, I’m lazy to do my work especially the household chores. I also want to change my behaviour to my parents because sometimes, I can say harsh words against tem so I want to change this attitude of mine. I know that is not right but I can’t avoid myself to be mad with them especially to my mother.

          Starting today and starting with me, I will make a change in my life, the lives of my family and the world I live in. I will try all my best even it’s hard to change, but little by little I know I can with the help and guidance of our Lord Jesus Christ.

   My Dream, My Future

          Every one of us has dreams and mostly wants to become a successful person in the future. Some want to become a doctor, nurse, teacher, lawyer, accountant, engineer, or architect and many others but before we fulfill our dreams, we have to face many challenges and obstacles and it depend upon us on how to choose either the right path or not.

          Like me, I have also a dream and that is to finish my college education. I want to become a teacher because I love teaching. I know being a teacher is very hard but I will do my best to reach my goal. I want to help my parents so that's the reason why I study harder. Gaining a higher degree is not a simple one but through the financial help of my Tita and Tito. I will do all my best to finish my College Education.

          Trials come always but I'm sure that I can handle everything through the help of our Almighty God. Temptations are many, but I will avoid the bad things that might destroy me and my future. I know my Tita and Tito are trying all their best to word hard so that they can send me in school, so I will not fail their expectations to me. It is a great sacrifice on their part because all the remedy they did for me just to give my needs and wants are what they are doing.

          So as a good Christian I have to be obedient and responsible person in order to fulfill my dreams and aspirations in life. If I fail, I will have to stand and try again until I succeed because my future lies on my hand.

Kannawidan Festival

Kannawidan Festival 

          Kannawidan is a festivity which the City of Vigan celebrates every year. In this festival, the Ilocano people showcase cultural shows, native products and the talents of the Ilocano’s. The festival opens at the Quirino Stadium in Vigan City January 29 to February 03 2014. Most of the activities of this week-long event happen here. Nightly, there are surprises and big events offered to the Ilocano’s. Different local products like the ube wine coming from as far as Benguet and of course from the different municipalities of Ilocos Sur found their space here. For the very first time in the history of Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, a carnival ground was put up at the Quirino Stadium in Bantay. This carnival has no entrance fee and every Ilocano can enjoy the fun.  

          Ilocos Sur, our very own province has rich and stunning cultures and traditions that we Ilocano’s must be proud of. In order to showcase these, we have important festive just to exhibit and promote products of ours and precious cultures of Ilocano’s to attract and invite tourists to come and visit Ilocos.  This Kannawidan Ylocos Festival aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province' rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products. We, Ilocanos should all be proud of with this because we are having this for tourists to appreciate our rich culture. Moreover, let us all preserve these cultures for next generations and this will serve as our trademark as an Ilocano. 

          Come and celebrate with us on the grandest and most colorful festival of Ilocos Sur. The KANNAWIDAN YLOCOS FESTIVAL 2014, a showcase of culture and tradition of Ilocanos. It’s more fun in Vigan! Explore Ilocos! 

New Year, New Me

New Year, New Me

Welcome 2014! It is the start of a new year, which means the start of a new me! When I can start fresh, fix things that went wrong last year, make new friends, see new things and go new places.

This year, I want to work more on my homework and less time messing around because my grades are dropping because of it. I don’t want that my grades stay bad. So I need to get my work done then I will have good grades and still have time to do things and have fun.

I just want to say Thank you for all the people who treat we well and for being part of my 2013 journey. I hope they will always there to make my 2014 more enjoyable. Let us change for the better. Forgive and forget. Let us spread our love and peace to everyone. Be nice, be good and mostly, be yourself.

Well, years end and new ones start, but each one is different in their own way. How I will make this one different is I will work really hard to make my family proud. I will fight less with my sister even small things can lead to bad things, and I will work on my homework and less surfing internet so I can pull my grade4s up. I have some really big resolutions, looks like I better get started if I want to do them.

  This Third Grading I learned about a hypertext mark-up language and how a website using this HTML. I discover about many details in links that at first I’m not aware about what links mean all about.

Even though I have encountered a little bit problems or challenges but still I can do the task on time. Thanks to my classmates and specially my Teacher in ICT who are always there to help and guide me in all the activities we do.

Moving on, I will improve myself so that my work or my activities outcome looks great and better. I will strive harder to the next Grading Period.

  To me, I am so excited when Christmas is getting closer. Christmas means a time of happiness towards everyone. It is a time when families and close friends come home from all over the world to be with the people they love. Christmas brings happiness to everyone. Christmas time is my favourite time of the year. I love when it’s time to shop for all those gifts to everyone.

But most of all, I love this time of the year because I get the chance to be with my family and friends while I enjoy everyone’s Christmas cheer during this wonderful time of the year. It is also the time to forgive each other. Love each other and make peace on this world

In my 16 years of existence in life, here comes Christmas again! Many things we do in this season, many people are busy. Christmas is the birth of saviour Jesus Christ. It is the most important and most awaited event in the year
